Last spring we had to chop down the great big street tree out in front of our house. It was diseased and though beautiful dropped buckets of sap indiscriminately on anything passing under it slower than a speeding bullet.
This winter we (thanks to some not so gentle encouragement by our local San Jose arborists) planted a new tree, which is affectionately known as "our little giant twig". Twiggy is beginning to show his first signs of life with some tiny buds these last few weeks. Spring is on its way!!!
