Who's on your list to shop for? Whether it's mom, dad or grad, you can find Macy's savings on May 16th and give something back to one of my favorite non-profits ~ HELP ONE CHILD! You can find out more about them and their mission to recruit, train and support foster families right here in Silicon Valley at helponechild.org.
In the meantime, would you help me help them?
Here’s how it works:
Macy's has given Help One Child Community Shopping Day tickets to sell for $10. Tickets entitle the holder to
• 10-20% discounts on regular price, sale and clearance priced merchandise on Saturday, May 16th.
• Spend $25 and receive $10 off one purchase – in essence, get your donation back!
• Use the ticket stub to enter to win a $500 shopping spree in the store!
Participating Macy's include:
Macy's Stanford Shopping Center
Macy's Valley Fair
Macy's Union Square
Macy's Pleasanton
Items excluded from Macy's Community Shopping Day discounts are cosmetics,
fragrances, everyday values and handbags by Coach and Dooney & Bourke.
Important:
• Treat tickets as cash! Checks are made out to HELP ONE CHILD and because of the shopping benefits are NOT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
If HELP ONE CHILD sells 100 tickets, they will also receive a cut from general ticket sales amounting to several thousand dollars!
Ticket holders may pre-shop starting May 2 and items will be laid away, but must be paid for and picked up during the May 16th event for the discount.
Please let me know if you are willing to help me Help One Child. Post a comment and I'll contact you for payment and send you a Community Shopping Day Ticket.
